I’d like to ask you a question, AnonymousScanner. When you perform your scans, do you use a document feeder to automate the process or do you scan each page by hand. The two potential downsides I see from doing it with a feeder are (1) slight cropping of the edges and (2) paper jams. I’ve started scanning some manga myself and would like to know what the pros do. Thanks for any help!

No, I do not, and they do not produce adequate scans. The key word is *Document* feeder. Don’t look upon manga/doujin pages as documents, but rather art. Document feeders should only be used if you’re scanning pages of plain text.
